You can apply for access to locked bicycle storage at the University of Iceland by completing the application form at the bottom of this page.
To access bicycle storage, you need a valid University of Iceland access card:
- a staff card, or
- a student card with access.
Access is typically activated within 1–2 working days of approval.
Please note that charging electric bicycles or e-scooters is not permitted in the University's bicycle storage facilities.

- Users agree to treat the bicycle storage facilities with care.
- Users must not allow unauthorised individuals to enter the storage areas.

Locations of locked bicycle storage at the University of Iceland
Læknagarður
A secure bicycle container is located at Læknagarður. The facility is accessible 24/7 to users with approved access.
Saga basement
Locked cycle storage is available in room S-010 in the basement of Saga. Changing rooms and shower facilities are located directly opposite. Access is granted to approved users. Opening hours are 06:00–24:00.
