Common issues with SPSS through virtual desktop
"It looks like your system administrator hasn’t set up any resources for [email]"
Make sure you are signed in with the correct email.
If you see this message then you have not been given access to SPSS. Your instructor or boss will need to ask the department for access to SPSS.
"We couldn't connect because there are currently no available resources"
This message appears because all of the virtual virtual machines are currently in use.
If you can not access SPSS within 2 hours then contact the Division of IT.
"The system administrator has restricted the times during which you may log in"
You have graduated and have lost access to IT services. If you work for the school then let your boss know that you need a new staff username.
My data is missing
It is necessary to save all data through OneDrive otherwise the data will be lost.
We recommend starting each session by turning on OneDrive through the start menu and logging in.
The SPSS licence is expired
You can use SPSS for up to one month after it expires. The licence will then be renewed automatically, so no action is required on the user's behalf.
