Snara (Dictionary)

Snara is a search platform for Icelandic dictionaries and reference works, containing more than 2 million dictionary entries across dozens of dictionaries and language resources.

Users can translate words and terms, find correct spelling and usage, look up word inflexions and conjugations, and access grammatical and linguistic information.

Snara is now accessible to members of the University of Iceland through Málstað from Miðeind.

To sign up users only need to click on "Nýskráning" and use "Halda áfram með Microsoft" and use their University of Iceland email address.
