All personal data collected, used or otherwise processed by the University of Iceland is handled in accordance with the Data Protection Act and the Processing of Personal Data. Personal data refers to information that identifies a specific individual or could be used to identify one.
The University of Iceland processes sensitive personal data in accordance with data protection legislation and EU Regulation 2016/679 on the same subject, and in accordance with the strictest security requirements.
You may request a copy of the personal data that the University of Iceland stores about you by visiting the Service Desk at the University Centre and completing a request form. Please note that valid identification must be presented both when submitting the request and when collecting the data.
