Phone number for Teams

With Teams you can call within the university by default. Staff can apply for phone numbers to call outside the university.

Staff phone numbers

You apply for a phone number through Ugla > Computer services > Applications > Telephone number.

Phone numbers are terminated through "Termination of a phone number" on the same page.

If the phone number needs to be charged to a different department then you will need to send in a request.

Shared phone numbers

If a shared number needs to be created, a request must be submitted that includes the desired number and the users who should be in the call group (usernames).

Before a user can be added to a shared number, they must first have been assigned a phone number in Teams. After that, a request can be submitted.
