Teams calls and call queues

Place a call in Teams through the "Calls" tab:

  • Speed ​​Dial: Add people you call often by selecting the plus button.
  • History: View your call history. Sort it by missed, voicemail, outgoint etc.
  • Contacts: Saved contacts through Microsoft 365 can be found under "View contacts".calling 1.png

To place a call, enter the number you want to call and click the Call button. If you are calling within the university, enter the last four digits of the number, e.g. 4222 to call 525-4222. Your number is visible bellow the keypad:calling 2.png

Settings

Click on the three dots and select Settings → Calls to change the ringtone, voicemail and more.

If you have issues with the audio then click on the three dots and select "Settings" → "Devices". You can try out your setup by clicking “Make a test call.” If something isn't working right, try switching to a different Speaker or microphone:

Call queue

The department can ask for a shared number and add members to the call queue by contacting the Division of Information Technology.

Turn the call queue on or off by clicking on the three dots. Select "Settings" → "Calls". Click on the call queue phone number at the top and toggle "Recieve calls from this queue" on or off.
