- Access to the University Gym costs ISK 12,000 for the academic year, and only students and UI staff can buy access.
- This fee covers all open sessions in the hall, including access to the fitness suite facilities and sauna. You can buy access at the Service Desk at the University Centre.
- There is no physical membership card; instead, you can log in at the entrance using your kennitala or student number.
Please note that access is for registered users only. If it is used by others, the access will be closed.

The University Gym at Sæmundargata is open only to students and staff of the University of Iceland.

- 4000 ISK after 4 pm and on weekends

The building is old and, unfortunately, not well-equipped for wheelchair users. There is no elevator, and the doorsteps are pretty high.
Gym memberships are sold for the academic year. During the autumn semester, you can buy access for the entire academic year for 12.000 ISK or just for the autumn semester for 6.000 ISK. You can purchase spring-semester access for 6.000 ISK from January onwards.
