Instructors at the University of Iceland are responsible for listing textbooks and make them accessible to students. If no book is listed, the instructor will provide information about reading materials no later than the first class session.
Instructors are responsible for ensuring that textbooks are available at the University Bookstore if desired. Requests for purchases should be sent to the bookstore's purchasing manager.
Textbooks must be listed in the UI course catalogue and the course syllabus in Canvas. If textbooks are unavailable at the University Bookstore, the instructor must inform students where they can find the book.
Instructors can reserve materials at the National and University Library's Course Reserves. Students can use those books on-site or borrow them for a limited time.
